The website at Tilley Motorsport Spares is a shopping website where you can browse, select and order products.

These terms and conditions govern your use of this Website and or purchase of products from us, by proceeding with the use of this Website you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions if you do not agree to the terms and conditions do not use the Website or purchase products from us.

The use of the website is on an “as is basis and is entirely at your risk. We shall not be responsible for any detriment incurred by reliance you place on this Website or its contents.

We retain discretion to:

  • Cancel order if our processes identify any attempt at fraud or for any other legitimate reason.
  • Refusal to allow an account to be establish or
  • terminate accounts or
  • to remove or edit account details

If for any reason we cannot process or accept your order after payment is received, we will attempt to contact you by email or telephone to determine your requirements.

Because of frequent changes in internet technology and applicable law we reserve the right to make changes to these terms and conditions at any time.

We may make changes in the products described and to other content of the Website at any time without notice.

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions on our website are accurate however some inaccuracies, such as typographical error or misinterpretations may occur.  We reserve the right to correct such inaccuracies or typographical errors at any time.

Age restrictions

You must be at lease eighteen (18) years of age to place an order with us.

Should we suffer any loss or damage as a result of a transaction entered into by a person under the age of 18 we reserve the right to seek compensation for such loss or damage from the parents or guardians of the person who placed the order with us.

Online purchasing account

Upon checkout you have the option to create an account on our site which will save your data so you can purchase items more easily in the future. It is not compulsory to do this. Your details are stored on our server for your records.

Pricing

We reserve the right to change prices displayed for products on our Website at any time.

The prices displayed for products on the website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and represents the full price including GST, this however excludes shipping / postage and handling, which will be charged depending on size and weight and destination of each product.

Products remain our property until we have received payment in full.

International orders

We do not accept international orders through our website for any sales outside Australia please contact us on [email protected]

Please note that our products delivery and freight charges do not include any taxes duties etc. imposed by your local government. You will be liable for these amounts.

Payment

We only accept payment through BPAY, and Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard) if you would like to make alternate arrangements this needs to be organised directly with us, you can contact us via phone or email please see our contact page.

Payment will not be processed until we have received all relevant information required.

We accept Australian Credit cards only.

Some payments may take up to three working days to process.

You must pay the price payable as indicated on your order confirmation within 7 days from date of receipt.

We will not be responsible for any damages, consequential losses (whether direct or indirect) suffered by a customer whose credit card is fraudulently used or is used in an unauthorised manner.

Shipping

We recommend shipping insurance be taken out at time of order as we will not accept responsibility for loss or damage once it leaves our dispatch.

Payment must be received in full prior to shipping.

We attempt to dispatch orders within two business days from the time that payment has been received.

If for any reason your order or part thereof, cannot be shipped you will be notified ASAP.

If you are not available, when our delivery partner attempts a delivery a card may be left advising you that your order will be available for you to collect from your local post office we will not accept responsibility for re delivery charges.

Some items are hazardous and shipping restrictions may apply, should a shipping restriction apply we will contact you. Alternatively, please contact our sales department during business hours to discuss any such restriction.

Please note that shipping and handling rates are calculated based upon your location and the size / weight of your order, upon completion of your order our shipping calculator will display and add the shipping charges to your total order cost.

Security policy

Your credit card information is never stored on our servers and is instead processed and stored encrypted by our payment processors like Stripe and PayPal. Refunds and returns

  1. Returns must be received by us within 14 days or purchase.
  2. Original receipt / paperwork must be included with returned product.
  3. The item is in re-saleable condition, meaning that:
    1. It is in its original packaging, including instruction manuals and all accessories.
    2. It is unopened, unused, un- fitted or modified in any way and in its original condition.
    3. Goods failing to meet this requirement will be refused credit and returned to you at your cost.
  4. All freight on goods returned for credit must be pre-paid.
  5. Returns must include an explanation of reason for return and your contact details.
  6. Special buy-ins especially those procured non stock products WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR RETURN
  7. Receipt of goods by us should not be seen as an obligation by us to issue a credit or to provide a refund, Returns must be approved by us prior to before refund/Exchange is processed.
  8. Under no circumstances should credit/refund be deducted from payments.

Warranty

All warranty claims, must be made within 90 days from date of purchase.

Before any warranty claim is made, we ask that you do the following:

  1. Consider the product instructions to ensure that the product is being correctly used.
  2. Follow any troubleshooting procedures supplied with the product.

All freight on goods returned for credit must be pre-paid.

We may elect to return the product to the manufacturer to determine the nature of the problem, we reserve the right not to offer an exchange, refund or repair where the item faults:

  1. Is a result of misuse or neglect
  2. Failure to use part or product, in accordance with manufactures instructions, including failure to install correctly
  3. Water damage or corrosion.

The use of our products for motorsports purposes, in most circumstances, is contrary to the manufacture’s design specification and not in accordance with the manufactures instructions. Accordingly, the use of our products in motorsports, will, in most circumstances, void the products warranty.

Should the product sent back for testing be found not to be defective from manufacturing or component defect, you will be charged for any associated costs incurred, product will then be returned to you at your cost.

Should the product/s sent back to us be proven to be faulty, not of acceptable quality or component defect the product will then be repaired, replaced, exchanged or a refund granted to you.

Privacy

We collect personal information when we provide our services to you. We do not collect information for use of secondary purposes and only provide your details to a secondary provider for shipping or Warranty purposes.

Remember to close your browser when you have finished your used session, this ensures that other cannot access your personal information and correspondence if you share a computer with someone else or are using a computer in a public place like a library or Internet café. You as an individual are responsible for the security of and access to your own computer.
